MONTALVO ARTS CENTER WRITERS SERIES    Montalvo Arts Center

Katherine has stimulating conversations with award-winning writers at Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga, CA — writers like Andy Weir (The Martian), Armistead Maupin, comedy writers Les and Glen Charles (Cheers and other sitcoms), songwriter Jesse Harris, Ann Packer, Karen Joy Fowler, Michael Krasny and others. Her friendly yet probing style is often compared to that of Terry Gross.  Upcoming dates are:

—Joyce Maynard, Wednesday, May 2, 2018, 11:30 am, whose recent memoir “The Best of Us” reveals three years with the love of her life. It bookends her memoir of 25 years ago, “At Home in the World” about her intimate relationship with J.D. Salinger when she was 18. In between, came seven best-selling novels.
